Reforestation
Restoring degraded land with native species to bring damaged ecosystems back to their original, thriving condition.
Reforest · Research · Rehabilitate · Educate
We work hand in hand with communities living in fragile equatorial ecosystems to protect endangered monkeys and the forests they call home — for the wildlife, the people, and a healthier planet.
Who we are
Monkey Rescue is a nonprofit dedicated to conservation and sustainability — focusing on reforestation, research, education and rehabilitation. From the Amazon to the rainforests of Africa and South-East Asia, deforestation is accelerating at an alarming rate.
We believe action in the field is the fastest way to turn things around. We partner directly with the communities who share these ecosystems, so a better future is possible for both the wildlife and the people who live there.
What we do
Every project is chosen for the impact it makes on the community and, ultimately, the entire rainforest region.
Restoring degraded land with native species to bring damaged ecosystems back to their original, thriving condition.
Studying fragile ecosystems and the threats they face, so our conservation decisions are guided by real evidence.
Caring for rescued and injured monkeys with the goal of safely returning healthy animals to the wild.
Sharing knowledge and sustainable alternatives so communities can thrive without harming the forests around them.
See it for yourself
Rainforests are a global treasure of biodiversity — a vast oxygen factory, a carbon bank and an enormous freshwater store. They give us food, medicine, clean water and clean air.
Monkey Rescue fights to save endangered animals and the forests they depend on. Every contribution helps build a healthier planet for us all.
